Daycare
Daycare is an ideal option for many family pet owners. Your dog cannot get the exercise it needs due to your busy work and home life. The number one activity owners can do to set their dog up for success is to ensure he gets adequate exercise. Not only will daycare provide plenty of exercise for your pup, it will also provide much needed mental stimulation for your smart friend. And for many dogs, troubled by separation and loneliness during the day, it is the perfect solution for companionship and a safe outlet for all that energy.

Safety is our number one priority. But fun is a close second! Our daycare facility boasts 6,000 sq. feet of play areas, divided by fencing and security doors to keep the dogs safe. Our floors are covered with sealed ¾” rubber matting to reduce the risk of injury while romping around and playing. We have several pieces of play/agility equipment to keep things interesting, and our facility is fully climate-controlled so your dog plays in comfortable temperatures year-round.

Day boarding
For dogs with special needs or those not suited to daycare, we offer day boarding services on-site at Professional Paws. Your dog will be housed in a crate for the majority of the day, but averages three to four hours of play and interaction with staff outside of the crate.

Dog walks
Professional Paws offers midday dog walking to residents in the Woodbridge area. Our walkers come to our home for 20-minute visits, taking your dog out for a leashed walk and potty-time. Our walkers can also spend time playing fetch or interacting with your dog in a manner that will allow an outlet for exercise and provide mental simulation, too.

In-home pet care
Planning a vacation or have to leave for a business trip? Call us to discuss our in-home pet-sitting. Several options are available to ensure uninterrupted care of your furry friends while you’re away.

Sunday afternoon playgroups (a.k.a. The Indoor Dog Park)
On Sunday afternoons, Professional Paws offers Prince William County dog owners a new alternative for canine activities…an indoor dog park experience. Training
We recommend All About Dogs for group and private training for the family pet. Inquire about “day school,” a popular program where a trainer from All About Dogs conducts a private one-hour training session while you dog is at daycare.

Other services
Periodically, a mobile pet groomer visits our facility. Check with the staff for scheduling nail trims, haircuts, etc. And Diane Roadcapp, a well known pet communicator, visits the daycare on a quarterly basis. Appointments are arranged through the daycare staff.
