Darby
Hi, my name is Darby and I am a Weimaraner. I get so excited about Professional Paws. When I was a puppy last year, I was home with my mom a lot. But one day, she called Professional Paws and enrolled me in doggie daycare. Some days I did not have a ride to daycare so Kim would pick me up and bring me home. On other days when my owners were out, I was carefully walked and pampered by Julie who came to my house.
I love the people at Professional Paws and am so glad they take good care of me. Julie has nicknamed me “Dar-minator” which makes everybody laugh. They always tell my owners that I am a good boy and I play well with others. I love to greet new dogs and introduce them to Professional Paws on their first visit. It is really fun to run, play, and nap with my dog pals all day long. I love making new friends. Thanks to everyone at Professional Paws who love and watch over me.
Maggie
Hi there! My name is Maggie, but I am often referred to at school as “Maggie Moo Moo,” or “Pickle” and I’m sure a whole bunch of other names I can’t remember at the moment.
My mom got me from a rescue group, and they said I was found as a stray and “on the run.” Life was a bit rough for me while I was on the run so I had a lot of stress and anxiety issues, especially with new places and new faces. Added to that, I am not one of those girls who likes to be confined and left in a crate all day – so I found ways to get out, or not go in for that matter. Hey, I got bored in there, what can I say? I am a girl who likes my freedom. So my mom called Professional Paws. Kim said to bring me in for the day to check it out and see how I interacted with the other dogs, and I have been there ever since.
I just love school – that is what mom and I call daycare. My mom even has a school bag for me. When she picks it up, I know it is a school day. I don’t go everyday, but I typically go two or three times a week. It gives me time to hang out with my friends while mom is a work, and mom LOVES it when I come home tired! She says one of the things she loves best about school is that she doesn’t feel guilty because I am left at home by myself during the day. The other thing she LOVES about Professional Paws is that everyone there loves me and the other dogs – she knows I am being treated well and given lots of love. I guess we both win!
So, if you are thinking about bringing your dog to Professional Paws, take if from me, it is a great place to be. OK, gotta run and get back to my friends.
Buddy
Hey, I’m Buddy! I don’t type so well, so my Dad is helping me write this to tell you I think I’m the luckiest guy in my whole neighborhood! Oh, don’t get me wrong – Mom and Dad are great. But since I started going to Professional Paws last year, my life is way cooler! I get so excited Tuesday and Thursday mornings when I arrive at daycare cause that means a full day of running, playing, and just hanging out having fun with my buddies…especially Becket and Charlie! Not only do I have lots of fun, Dad says I learn something called “social skills.” I’m not sure what that is…all I know is that I now get to go to lots of really neat places with my parents because I’ve got something called “manners.”
And I get great exercise running and jumping and playing tag. I’ve trimmed down my waistline a little, but what’s even better is that I can finally relax in the evening when my family just wants to spend some quiet time.
On days I’m not at daycare, I look forward to having of the experienced Pro Paws team come to my house for a brisk mid-day walk. I’m the luckiest guy I know! I tell all of my neighborhood gang about Professional Paws, and they tell me they wish their parents would call you! I love you guys!
Zoe
Hi, my name is Zoe and I am a Terrier-mix. Why is that important you ask? Well, for anyone that has ever had experience with Terriers, you’ll understand all the energy and curiosity I have! Before I came to Professional Paws doggie daycare, my moms used to call me a “terrorist” – I am not really sure why, I was just being myself. I have a brother and sister at home, but they are older and don’t really play, so I often got bored at home. Now that I go to ProPaws, I don’t seem to get in to near as much trouble at home. I am so excited on the days that I get to ride my “bus” to school to see all my friends. I even have it figured out which days of the week I go, and I wait at the door for my leash. I LOVE TO PLAY! Miss Kim says I have really good play skills and someday she might put me in a video! Even though I am not real big, sometimes I get to play with the big dogs – I love that, but then I am really, really tired when I get home. Lots of times, I even fall asleep in the car on the way home. ProPaws is also helping me to not be so afraid of people. The staff there is really nice and pays a lot of attention to what I try to tell them. I hope I never grow up so I can play at ProPaws forever! I think I will go dream about it right now, because Terriers are always busy - even in their sleep!
Fletcher
Hiya! I’m Fletcher, and my motto is “live large.” I’m a great dane with lots of energy and a big appetite for fun, food, and affection. I live to play!
My parents bring me to Professional Paws two or three times each week. Daycare days are the best days! My mom says she gets all her work done when I’m at daycare without any squeaky ball interruptions. And she doesn’t ever worry because they keep a close eye on me. I’ve learned my manners at daycare and I’m a pretty good dog. (I only get time-outs every now and then.) The humans also make sure I don’t eat things I’m allergic to – whatever that means.
My favorite part of daycare is all the space I have to run and romp with my buddies. Oh, and Miss Kim…I love to kiss her face as much as possible. And snack time…that’s very important, too.
Lexi
Hello, I’m Lexi. I love Professional Paws daycare because there are so many loving people to care for me and so many fun friends to run around with. I love to run! I like to play with the BIG dogs and the small dogs. Playing with my friends at daycare sure is better than staying home all day alone when my Mommy is at work. I am really lucky to meet so many new friends here...four-legged and two-legged ones. Thanks, Professional Paws, for giving me a home away from home!
Praise from our pet parents
“I just wanted to say thank you for Prowler's daycare orientation today. My husband was thrilled with every aspect and I'm so glad that he was able to stay for so long and observe. Prowler was so happy to see him tonight when he picked him up but exhausted!! A tired puppy is a good puppy!! Thank you so much.” ~ Val Brown
“Everyday at Professional Paws is a tail-thumping, heavy breathing, doggie fantasy come true for Maggie. She is always greeted with hugs, love, and enthusiasm by the staff who are like family to her. Her days are filled with exercise, naps, unconditional love, and the safest home away from home. Her caregivers do everything from playing and singing, to teaching proper socialization and "kindly picking up after her and wiping her butt" – all with great tenderness and affection. And I love Professional Paws, because when I come home I have a very happy, content, and exhausted little girl. NONE exceed the professionalism and skill of Professional Paws!” ~ Kathi Duncan
